Kauaʻi has made tremendous progress following Hurricane Lowell, and most things across the island have returned to normal.

 

All major roads are open, nearly all hotels and restaurants are open, and most tour and activity companies are operating as usual. Some cleanup and recovery work continues, primarily involving fallen trees and vegetation, but for visitors, Kauaʻi is once again looking and feeling very much like the island we all know and love.
